Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
